I WENT SHOPPING!!!

That’s it. That’s all I wanted to say.

Just kidding. But I know by telling you that, all of the fashionista ladies in the pink are going Ohhhhhhh yeahhhhhhhh. They KNOW how fun shopping is. They KNOW how it’s just the best thing ever. If I were rich, I swear I would be so thin because I could shop all day and forget about food for hours and hours.

Now, you might be imagining my fancy little self at Saks or Nordstrom, and I thank you for your confidence in me as a stylish lady. I do frequent these stores. However, there is something in my DNA that does not allow me to spend a lot of money on summer clothes. This is ironic because I live in California, where it is warm eight months out of the year. I guess I still have that east coast mentality that the bucks are spent on good cashmere, jackets and layers.

So here’s my tip to you ladies – JC PENNEY

How cute is this??!!

They have a new ad campaign that is pretty snazzy and I saw a white top and white dress  in a magazine that were uber cute. I thought, I must go and just see what they have. In one hour, I found the CUTEST, most STYLISH dresses ever!! Seriously, they look like Tory Burch or Lilly Pulitzer. Almost every single dress I tried on looked so chic and perfect. The dresses were already low priced but EVERYTHING WAS ALSO ON SALE. I felt like I was robbing the place, it was so good.

I took my ginormous pile of goodies to the counter with my $10 off coupon that I had received in the mail. I didn’t care that I had so much. The total would be the same as ONE good dress at Bloomingdale’s. The lady started to ring me up and then asked if I wanted to use the coupon for EACH purchase. WHAT??!! As in, I could get $10 off every single item if we rung it up separately. I was in shock. I didn’t not pay more than $30 for each dress.

I walked out of there in such a high. I was gonna look GOOD this summer. Plus, I had bought some great Coach and Tory Burch shoes that would finish these looks purrrrrrfectly.

SO GO NOW LADIES! RUN. DO IT.

I’m not kidding. They have this $10 off SALE right now till May 8th. Anything you buy over $10, you get $10 off! And hopefully you can get the kind saleswoman like mine who will let you have the deal for every item.

Just goes to show you that you do NOT have to spend a lot to look chic. P.S. If you ask me if my outfit is from JC Penney, I will totally deny it, so don’t even try!
