Hi Pink Ladies!!

I’m not sure if you ladies have been following the ridiculous controversy over the J. Crew ad which featured a mom painting her son’s toenails pink.

What the hell is wrong with people? Are people really so dumb as to think that painting a boy’s toenails pink will turn a kid into Boy George?

David Bowie wore makeup for years and he’s straight. The band KISS wears makeup and high heels all the time. Does that make them evil? I’m not a huge fan of their look but I don’t think it’s hurting anyone. Ozzy Osbourne paints his nails. So does Dave Navarro. Steven Tyler has long hair, wears feathers in his hair and eye liner. Johnny Depp wears eyeliner. Does that make them transgenders?

These activists are so whacko. They need to go back to 1950 when men drank and smoke at work and women cooked with Crisco. Who are people like Sarah Palin (who looks like an unfashionable librarian and talks like a cartoon character) to tell us what we should wear and do with our body?

I have gay friends who were forced to play with GI Joes and go camping and they now scream when they see a bug and prefer to go shopping so who is making up these rules that boys MUST do boy things or they will go off the charts into Weirdoland or Gaysville? By the way, there are gay people in the military. Explain THAT Glenn Beck!

If I wear a man’s suit, am I a lesbian? If a girl plays with guns, will she be a big man? Sarah Palin plays with guns and hunts. I have not seen her private parts but I’m pretty sure she is a woman. Who is going to make these rules of what boys and girls can and can not do?

There are some parents that are so stupid, they think their son wanting to cook is a bad thing. HELLOOO?! Most of the top chefs in the world are STRAIGHT MEN.

Thank God there are smart people like me out there who see how dumb this whole controversy is and can get on the soapbox with me and keep these crazies from turning our country into Planet of the Apes.

People need to wake up and smell the current atmosphere. My sister refused to wear anything but pants until she was 13. She was a tomboy and beat up every kid on the block. Is she wearing flannel and dating women? No. She is married to a man and has a kid.

If these nimrods would do their research, they would know a little about colors. Pink actually was the color associated with BOYS, not girls.

Pink is the color of creativity and communication. And I hope to god THOSE traits aren’t considered faggy by the die-hard Tea Party fundamentalists. By the way, those people scare me!!! If it were up to them, women wouldn’t be able to vote, the races would be segregated and gay people would be sent away like lepers.

I am disgusted!!

My husband gets his nails and toes done regularly and believe me, he’s a MAN. And by the way, a couple months ago, I painted my Godson’s nails red and he loved it. And he has a crush at school on a GIRL.
